The Fayette Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Launch Fayette and Jason Hunter Design, presents the 2025 Fayette County Pitch Contest — a dynamic, Shark Tank-style event where local entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to a panel of judges for prizes, exposure, and bragging rights.
A pitch contest gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their business idea to an expert panel, competing for valuable prizes, professional exposure, and game-changing feedback. It’s a chance to test your concept, refine your message, and build momentum.
Finalists will be selected based on their submitted materials, including a brief executive summary and key business fundamentals (operational, financial, marketing, etc.). Selected applicants will move on to a preliminary pitch round, where 5 finalists will be chosen to present on the main stage.
Each of the 5 finalists will have:
Judges will receive $10,000 in Pitch Credits to “invest” in the businesses they believe in most. After all pitches are complete, each judge will also award a $2,000 Wildcard to the entrepreneur they want to give an extra boost.
Incentives
The Pitch Contest provides an opportunity for self- starters to embrace their entrepreneurial spirit and goals. These aspiring entrepreneurs have the opportunity to use their inspiration and business ideas to innovate our business community through economic development.
An initiative of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, StartUp Fayette is committed to nurturing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in our region. Each monthly StartUp Fayette event (held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Launch Fayette in Peachtree City) is designed to educate, connect, and inspire our local startup community.
Pitch Contest applicants are strongly encouraged to attend at least three StartUp Fayette sessions prior to the main event.
